Agadir 5 Days, 4 Nights

Day 1 Agadir – Taliouine – Agdz.

 

The driver will meet you directly at 8 h00 from your chosen pick up location in AGADIR and drive you by the expressed way down the Souss Valley to the ancient walled town of taroudant this berber town marked by a very strong cultural identity. Admire the colors of the spices, clothes and flowers on the Berber market, you will be struck by the indigo blue of the women’s clothes, reminiscent of those of the desert men who long frequented Taroudant in the time of the caravans., a high point in Berber culture. After time to explore the old city you’ll continue, Taliouine, the heart of the saffron Presidium, situated in a land covered with argan trees on the western side and rose cultivation on the eastern side stop for a glass of tea with saffron then, continue towards one of the biggest centers of berber rugs Taznakht. This Berber village is then continued towards stopover spend nights in agdez, ascent up to the typical Moroccan fashion, famous Berber village Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers, more than 24 films were (listed of the films). ksar ait benhadou is one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech you will have to stop there at the new village and walk to explore the old village that was subscribed as UNESCO site at year 1986. Day 2 Rose Valley – Dades & Todra Gorges – Desert.

 

After exploring the village in your leisure we head up to Ouarzazate to visiting the museum of cinema .then ascent through the road of thousand Kasbah a crossing the oasis skoura to rose and dades valley WITH its extraordinary rock formation named as human dodies (legend about it) actually they look like monkey s fingers, after that you head up to tinghir setting out between the High Atlas Mountains and anti atlas mountain on route to the Todra Gorges, take a walk-up in the towering Todra Gorges (300 M high 30 M WIDE AND 1KM long). LUNCH THERE OR I TINJDAD at ksar elkhorbat HEADING into erfoud the desert gate across the barren land to the majestic erg chebi sand dunes.(erg chebi Erg Chebbi, it is the name of the sand dunes that defines the Merzouga Sahara desert) the dunes can be pink, gold, or red depending on the lighting. Arriving to hotel where your camels will be awaiting you. Before you set off by camel you’ll get a welcoming glass of mint tea .then a 1-hour’s trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents.(how to ride a camel). This could be optional if you would prefer to HAVE A SHORT CAMEL TREK to see sunset and return to the hotel to sleep * extra 20 EURO pp*. Dinner and breakfast included.

Day 3 Sahara Desert.

 

After sunrise, you will return by camel to the hotel to have breakfast and get your room where you will sleep at night, today there are two option if you like to relax by the pool, or we are having offroad through the black desert around erg chebbi visiting two oases of hassi lbbid and Merzouga, the nomadic camp, Khamlia village of black musicians, mines Mifiss, meeting the bedouin Berbers in the desert, hunting for fossils at Tissardmine oasis. Back to the hotel, to relax and watch the sunset over the dunes. And enjoying the silence of the desert. Dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4 Sahara Desert – Erfoud – Ziz gorge – Aazrou – Fez.

 

After breakfast WE head out from the Sahara desert through a different road to rissani the segund Islamic city which was build in the North Africa after kayrawan in Tunisia, if time allows, you can visit the local market with a donkey park the area is famous to for the million-year-old fossils. If you are interesting to the fossil you can visit the museum or the work shop fossils, after that you head up to Erfoud you across the eastern part of the high Atlas Mountains and begin ziz gorges (Moroccan Grand Canyon) to descend into midelt across the plain of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most part of the afternoon will be spent winding your way through the beautiful Berber town as if ran which means in Berber caves and azrou ( means stone) the hometown of the cedre forests where we will stop to see the Barbarian apes, and that cedre gourad we will reach fez approximately at 6 O’CLOCK.
